There have been several stories in the news recently about teenagers causing mayhem and some helping the community too.
1) Peckham youth's killing leads to call for information - a story in the BBC news talked how a group of youths shot a young man in the chest and neck. This suggests that teenagers are very aggressive and can be threatening for the community. The newspaper focused on the fact that the crime was gang-related. This also reinforces that teenagers carry weapons and this reinforces that they can be dangerous
2) Another story in the daily mail was about a group of teenagers who were caught after shoplifting in the nearby shops. He was caught by police when running from a shopping mall. This suggests that teenagers are very greedy and this reinforces that teenagers are usually broke and cannot afford food.
3) On the other hand there was a recent story in the news about Prince Charles (Prince Of Wales) visiting a school in Carshalton to analyse the healthy food options they currently have in their school. The article focuses on how the students welcomed the prince and showed him around the school. They behaved in a polite manner. This suggests that teenagers can be polite and kind.
